I think my submission has uploaded. I got some sort of error message, though. It is by Space Has No Nipple and is titled The Dissenter.

I see Klanggallerie has a listing for this as a CD under Coming Soon. http://www.klanggalerie.com/gg300

Where will the proceeds from the CD sales go?

I do not know how to play any instruments. I don't understand how basic tune creation works. I use digital instruments to create sounds that sound good to me.

I made a number of tunes about twenty years ago using Rubber Duck, Fruity Loops, Acid, and Sound Forge. You can hear them here: https://soundcloud.com/user-807019685/sets/finding-my-ears

When the I Am A Resident project started, I was the proud owner of a Moog Mother-32. Unfortunately, I was starting a new career at the post office about then and don't have enough time to play with it as much as I would like. I procrastinated creating my submission for several months while working 72-hour weeks. Finally when time was running out, I forced 3 hours out of my day to work on a cover of Mahogany Wood. It didn't work out at all. I present to you Mahogany Wouldn't: https://soundcloud.com/user-807019685/mahogany-wouldnt

I would like to collaborate on a Residents-like project using digital music. We could share files back and forth until we are happy with the resulting tunes. If you feel you would like to collaborate, but fear you would procrastinate to the point of never getting anything done, then I am the one for you.

I believe Olive and Grey is based on a weird hysteria of missing **** hysteria.

Men had a delusion that their **** was missing and would claim it had been stolen by a witch doctor or someone.

In My Window, I had the impression that the narrator had befriended pigeons in the park and had even named them. Now food was scarce. In desperation, the narrator lures his pigeons by name so he can kill them and eat them.

I have been a fan of The Residents since early eighties. I enjoy their style, crypticness, back stories, and costumes. I never really enjoyed their music until I listened to Midnight on Ten Two Times. Suddenly, I loved all Residents music.

I got interested in The Residents when I was a DJ at a college radio station in Louisiana in 1983. Listeners would sometimes request Constantinople.

Over the years, I loved The Residents appearance, back stories, crypticness, and all around weirdness. But I just didn't get the actual music. Even the live shows weren't doing it for me. Finally I went to see the Wonder of Weird show. Afterwards, I bought a couple of CDs, Coochie Brake and Ten Two Times.

Coochie Brake didn't work for me, and neither did most of Ten Two Times. When I heard the two versions of Midnight, suddenly things clicked. It was like the flicking of a switch. Suddenly, I liked all the music on Ten Two Times. I liked all the music on Coochie Brake. I went through the few records I had. I now loved all the music. Quickly, I purchased practically their entire catalog, and they became my favorite band.

I have 5 cats, my hobby is seeking weird music, and my favorite Residents record is The Bunny Boy.
