Hi there:

Hope all is great in Residents Land.

Hi there:

Sorry to bother you.

I am wondering if you could please tell me a song title as found on the track the Residents call
Party Of '72 and then Party Of '71.

The first part is "Eloise" then there is a few seconds of dead air followed by:
"Folks the sandman waits for no one sake,
but just to save his skin.

His oily grease is full of fleece but he has pulled no bone.

Thank you,
JY

Hi there,

Sorry for the belated answer. I've just registered here.

The second part is called "Sandman". Both this and "Eloise" were originally part of the 5-part "Hallowed be thy Wean" track from Baby Sex (the five parts are, in order, Sandman, Eat Me Mother, Eloise, For Doorknob and Kamakazi Lady).

Incidentally, the live version you mention is from '72, so "Party of '72" should be the right title. It is called that on the UWEB CD "Liver Music". I believe the recent Delta **** CD's have the year wrong.
