Hello everybody.
I'm Lorenzo Peyrani, 34-year-old guy from Turin, Italy. I am a writer and a musician. I am an independent researcher specialized in TS Eliot. I was a political activist, but now those days are gone. I am interested in psychoanalysis, esoterism, mathematics and philosophy.
I discovered the Residents in 2004. I was in Berlin and a human person invited me to dinner and made me listen to the Third Reich 'n Roll. I wasn't immediately convinced because of the all-covers nature of that album, but as soon as I was back in Italy I heard Duck Stab! and the Commercial Album and was forever hooked.
I had a band that was strongly influenced by the Theory of Phonetic Organisation, at least during its first, most radical, period. I have to say that I mostly love the first seven albums (Meet to Commercial), and was kind of disappointed when I saw the RZ live in 2011. I should have known that I wasn't going to listen to their 70s music, still I was naive enough to feel "betrayed". I would probably like it better today. Anyway, since that gig I rarely listenened to our dear eyeballs until the last few months, that have seen a flaming comeback. The news of Hardy Fox's death brought me back to Resident-mania, maybe to a more severe form than the ones I experienced before, a deeper trip.
I'd like to partecipate to tribute to HF if I get my **** together. I've been here for just a few days, reading the old posts, and I have to say this is a wonderful "place". CheerfulHypocrite's analysis of Not Available is what made me register. I hope to see some activity here, in the not-too-distant future.
And this is about it. I salute you.

Peyrani, la Lonza Arcobaleno
